The Brief
1000 Farms approached us with a mission to create a brand identity that reflects their dedication to sustainable agriculture and organic produce. They wanted packaging and a website that would communicate their values of natural farming, environmental stewardship, and the deep connection between farmers and their land. The challenge was to create a distinctive look that would resonate with eco-conscious consumers while standing out in a crowded market.
The Execution
We designed the 1000 Farms logo to be modern and meaningful. The three zeros in the logo subtly represent the cyclical nature of farming—sowing, nurturing, and harvesting. The clean and straightforward design echoes the simplicity and purity of the brand’s organic farming practices.
Our packaging strategy focused on using earthy tones that mirror the natural origin of the products. Each label features a portrait of one of the brand’s farmers, bringing a personal and human element to the packaging. This design not only honours the farmers but also strengthens the connection between the consumer and the source of their food.
The website was developed to be an intuitive and engaging e-commerce platform. It not only showcases 1000 Farms’ range of products but also educates visitors on the importance of sustainable farming practices. The clean and user-friendly design ensures that customers can easily navigate the offerings while absorbing the brand’s ethos.
The Result
The impact of our work was evident at a major exhibition where 1000 Farms debuted its products. Among numerous other organic brands, 1000 Farms’ stall drew the most attention, with visitors intrigued by the unique and engaging packaging. The strong interest generated at the exhibition translated into a significant increase in online traffic and sales, confirming that the brand’s story and design resonate deeply with its target audience.
